Memorial Day Pictures

We spent the Memorial Day weekend visiting our family and friends in New York and

...had fun on a boat ride. Sophia was loving it!

...relaxed with Grandpa on the deck.

...watched a pretty sunset.

...enjoyed a bonfire before bedtime. ...had fun with cousins and got wet in the lake. Olivia had her first swim of the year. I will be waiting until the water gets warmer!

What more can you ask for?

Sneak Preview

Well, let's just say that it has been one crazy week. Between falling all the way down the stairs on Sunday morning (for those of you who haven't heard, call me and I will fill you in) and learning that I will most likely need knee surgery due to a torn meniscus, it has been a nutty week. The knee injury isn't even related to the fall down the stairs. It happened back in January but wasn't getting any better so I finally asked for a MRI and that is when they found the tear. Oh well, I am just thankful that it is nothing worse...


Anyway, I wanted to give you a little sneak preview of Olivia all dressed up in her dance costume. Her little dance recital is in a couple of weeks but they all dressed up for their class pictures on Sunday. Can we say 'Las Vegas Showgirl'? Oh my, the costumes crack me up! I wish they were toned down a little (since she is only 3 and all!) but their song is 'Three Little Birds' so I guess that is the reason for all the feathers!

Best Mother's Day

I hope all the mothers out there had a great day yesterday.... You all deserve it!

The sun finally came out here after a few days of gray, rain, and cold. Yesterday was a beautiful day. Although I was up with my little buddy Sophia at 5:45am, Vince happily stayed up with her so I could sleep in. That was a nice treat. The rest of the day was spent getting my hair done (long overdue highlighting job), doing a little browsing/shopping after my hair appointment, and getting together with Mom, Dad, Sonja, Ari, Quintin, Boo, Dave, Kai, and my family for a late lunch.

I also have to mention that Vince gave me such a nice gift -- a new camera, lens, and tripod. I have been hinting about a new camera and he did great- thank you sweet husband! I can't wait to try it out! Sabrina, I am going to need your help with this camera for sure!
